Lighting

Single source of light or the impression of a single source. Multiple light sources may be needed to provide enough light for the set. It may be practical to shoot the scene in relatively brightness and darken it up in post production.

Character Profiles

Adam - Average height and build pale skin. He lives at home with his Uncle who is a war veteran. Adam was reclusive as a child ever since his parents died in a house fire. Adam works as a waiter at a small cafe. In his spare time he plays computer games with his friends.

Rachael - average height, slim with a strong personality. She works for a national intelligence agency who deals with matters of top national security. Rachael is working on a case involving black market trade and high profile businessmen.

Scythe - Tall and buff. An 'off the grid' agent who goes by the code name Scythe. He once worked for Mi6 but went rogue

Short Film Concept

Short Film Synopsis

A woman is tied to a chair on a dark room, whilst a shadowy male figure approaches her and interrogates her about some missing documents. The woman refuses to disclose any information to the man. After several threats to kill the woman he gives up. The man then dispatches the woman and moves her and the chair to the other side of the room. The man proceeds to the door and opens it, casting a beam of light across the room, revealing people waiting to be interrogated.

The short film sequence (5 minutes) should include planning materials such as, a short synopsis, storyboard and a written script. a recce report, evidence of casting considerations, a shooting/ editing log and a risk assessment.
